PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bonding polyethylene pipes made of a hard bonding material and a bonded polyethylene pipe.

SOLUTION: The method for bonding the polyethylene pipes is to butt the polyethylene pipes together, then apply an adhesive to the outer periphery of the butted pipes and bond the pipes to each other by putting a two-piece cover on the applied adhesive layer.
