<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding component 10 for a fuel tank, which makes a notch, even if it is formed when the component is welded to the fuel tank FT, hard to become a starting point of a crack, and which can be joined to the fuel tank with high joining strength. <P>SOLUTION: The welding component 10 for the fuel tank is provided with a tubular leg part 22 including a welding part 22 welded on a whole circumference edge part of a tank opening FTc of the fuel tank FT, a cover part 24 including a smaller outer diameter d smaller than a outer diameter D of the leg part 22, a tubular body 26, and a stress dispersion part 28 including a corner part 28a. The stress dispersion part 28 is formed in a stepped shape having a curvature R, reduces the maximum stress acting on the notch Nt by bearing part of stress acting on a notch Nt, and avoids the notch Nt to be a starting point of the crack. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
