PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene fiber dyeable in dark color by a disperse dye, etc., in after-treatment and having excellent spinning stability and provide a woven or knit fabric composed of the fiber. SOLUTION: The polypropylene fiber is composed of a thermoplastic resin composition containing (A) 5-15 mass% saturated polyester resin based on the total thermoplastic resin composition, (B) 2.5-25 mass% modified polypropylene resin produced by graft-polymerizing a hydroxyl-containingα,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid ester and an aromatic vinyl compound to an unmodified polypropylene wherein the grafting ratio of the aromatic vinyl compound is not less than equimolar amount based on theα,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid ester, and (C) an unmodified polypropylene resin.
