<p>The present invention is directed to a portable hose cutoff saw (10) having a stable base structure comprising a front plate (26) and a back plate (28), a top plate (24) extending transversely between the front (26) and back (28) plates interconnecting said front (26) and back (28) plates, and at least one connecting member (30a, 36b) extending transversely between a bottom portion of the front (26) and back (28) plates. The present invention also provides for a portable hose cutoff saw (10) having a plurality of slideably adjustable hose biasing pins (34a-34d) that may be adjusted to optimally bias the hose at or about a portion of a hose to be cut by the saw (10), thereby resulting in a consistent and straight cut of the hose.</p> |
