<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus preventing soiling on an image due to toner scattering or toner dropping without making a large space, a complicated composition or many number of components necessary. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with a photoreceptor 1 retaining an electrostatic latent image, a developing apparatus with a developing roller 2 installed in a position facing the photoreceptor 1 and a writing unit 4 below the photoreceptor 1 in a perpendicular direction. The soiling on the image due to the toner scattering or the toner dropping can be prevented by having air flow in a machine ejected outside the machine via the writing unit 4 and a surface of the developing roller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
