<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the contrast between LED light emitting bodies which illuminate and LED light emitting bodies which do not illuminate in a display device which displays characters and patterns by blinking on/off control of LED light emission bodies arranged in a matrix. <P>SOLUTION: The LED light emitting bodies 10 of an LED display device of the present invention each comprises an LED light emitting element 11 as a light source, lead terminals 15a and 15b for supplying a current to the LED light emitting element, and a resin mold 12 serving as a lens.
