<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set only a necessary function in an information processing apparatus from among a plurality of functions included in an image processing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an image processing apparatus 10 including a plurality of functions to execute image processing and including a function for transmitting a plurality of pieces of identifier information corresponding to the plurality of functions in response to a request from an information processing apparatus. The image processing apparatus 10 includes: a setting means for setting one or a plurality of pieces of identifier information to respond from the plurality of pieces of identifier information corresponding to the plurality of functions; a receiving means for receiving a request to acquire the identifier information from the information processing apparatus; and a transmitting means for transmitting one or a plurality of pieces of identifier information set by the setting means to the information processing apparatus when the receiving means receives the request to acquire the identifier information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
