<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the display quality of a panel from being degraded even when a voltage capable of causing an organic EL element to emit light with a desired luminance becomes lower than a voltage capable of outputting a constant current by a driving circuit due to the reduction of an ambient temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A cathode driver selects the i-th and (i+1)th rows in response to input of the i-th LP indicating the start of a selection period for the i-th row (i is a natural number).
