摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and quickly identify the air surface of a float blue sheet glass substrate that contains no Sn, to arrange the float blue sheet glass substrates properly making their air surfaces face upwards, and to deposit a film of a CIS-based thin film solar cell device on each of the air surfaces so as to improve its conversion efficiency and yield and to reduce its manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The surface of a glass substrate is irradiated with ultraviolet rays. When the surface of the substrate emits light, the surface is identified (P1) as a float surface B that contains Sn, and a mark indicating that Sn is contained is given to the surface (P2). When it is found that the air surface A of the substrate where the above Sn mark is not given is an upper surface, the substrate is subjected to a cleansing/drying process as it is, and a film of the CIS-based thin film solar cell device is deposited on the air surface A. When it is found that the float surface B is an upper surface, the substrate is turned upside down (P3), then the substrate is subjected to a cleansing/drying process (P4), and then a film of the CIS-based thin film solar cell device is deposited on the air surface A as an upper surface (P5). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
