<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recognition data forming device and an image recognition data forming method, in which work efficiency can be improved, by making the work loads for formation or data management of image recognition data reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In the image recognition data formation method for forming image recognition data used for the confirmation of a recognition object by pattern matching of a recognition image with a preliminarily registered template, a reference image in which the direction of an image of the recognition object is matched with a reference direction in the recognition image containing the image of the recognition object offset, in the rotating direction from the reference direction within a recognition plane, and a specific part of the recognition object is cut from the reference image and registered as a reference template. According to this, the need for storage of a plurality of reference image data according to offset angle is dispensed with, and the work loads for formation and data management of image recognition data can be reduced and the work efficiency is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
