<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an introducer sheath which enables an easy and quick infusion work without leakage of a medical solution outside a housing during pressure infusion of the medical solution from an arm tube and is advantageous in terms of the cost. <P>SOLUTION: The introducer sheath 1 has a sheath part S equipped with the housing 2, a thin, tubular sheath 4 provided at one end part of the housing 2 to communicate with an inner space 3, and a valve body 7 which is provided at the other end part of the housing 2 to close the inner space 3 and has a slit 10 where a thin, tubular body is inserted and the arm tube T provided to communicate with the inner space 3.
