HEAT SINK, OPTICAL MEMBER AND OPTICAL EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink which can be used for an optical system such as a liquid crystal projector and can drastically enhance the efficiency of heat radiation.

SOLUTION: The heat sink is attached to an optical member such as a wavelength plate and a deflector arranged on an optical path of a projector and radiates heat of the optical member, wherein a rugged surface in which substantially square recessed parts 1b and protruded parts 1a are alternately arranged on at least a half side of the heat sink so as not to allow incident light to refract.
