PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance workability and assemblage for components constituting a torque sensor, and to enhance detection sensitivity of the torque sensor. SOLUTION: In this torque sensor 30 wherein an input shaft 14 and an output shaft 15 are supported respectively to housings 11, 12 via an input bearing 17 and an output bearing 18 respectively, and wherein a torque detecting coil 61 constituting a magnetic circuit together with the first and second cores 40, 50 fixed respectively to the input shaft 14 and the output shaft 15 is provided in the housing 12, a temperature compensation coil 71 is provided in the housing 12, the input bearing 17 is provided between the temperature compensation coil 71 and the input shaft 14, and the temperature compensation coil 71 is electromagnetically coupled directly to the input bearing 17.
