PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line head which carries out printing with high definition, is small in size, and high in assembly productivity, and to provide an ink-jet printing device. SOLUTION: The line head is set up by arranging a plurality of head modules in a staggered manner. Each head module is formed by sticking together two ink droplet ejection substrates on each of which a plurality of pressure generating means are arranged, and combining n (n represents an integer not smaller than 1) heads having respective head chips with a shared nozzle plate, with each other.
