PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a transistor for obtaining the transistor capable of forming an active layer having orientation by a simple method, and having superior carrier mobility. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the transistor having the active layer comprising a semiconductor film containing an organic semiconductor compound includes a step of extending the semiconductor film; and a step of bonding the semiconductor film, while a surface for forming the active layer is heated and/or pressurized to obtain the active layer.
