PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper carbonic electric brush which is excellent in resistance to oxidation, small in input change caused by the passage of time, and can elongate a life and lower noise, and can be free from load, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The electric brush is obtained by the manufacturing method undergoing: a silver-plating process of plating electrolytic copper powder of not less than 10μm and not more than 100μm in powder diameter with silver of not less than 3 weight% and not more than 50 weight%, to the copper powder; a material adjustment process of adding and mixing graphite granulated powder which is produced of binder-processing graphite powder of not less than 14 weight% and not more than 69 weight%, electrolytic copper power of not less than 30 weight% and not more than 80 weight%, at least one kind of not less than 1 weight% and not more than 6 weight% out of MoS<SB>2</SB>, WS<SB>2</SB>and BN, and silver-plated copper powder obtained in the silver-plating process of not less than 1 weight% and not more than 10 weight%, to the whole quantity of the mixed material; a process of pressurizing and molding a material prepared in the adjustment process with not less than 2 t/cm<SP>2</SP>and not more than 5 t/cm<SP>2</SP>; and a process of baking the molded item by the molding process at not lower than 400°C and not higher than 800°C.
