PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron core of a rotating electric machine improved in magnetic performance and low in manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The iron core of the rotating electric machine comprises: a ring-shaped yoke 11; teeth 12 protruding from the yoke 11; a laminated core 6 having a groove 13 that extends in the axial direction at a position opposite to the teeth 12; an axially extended part 7A that extends toward the outside in the axial direction from the vicinity of the axial end face of the laminated core 6; a teeth extension part 7B that extends to the groove 13 along the teeth 12 at the axial end face of the laminated core 6; an auxiliary magnetic member 7 having a groove fitting part 7C fitted into the groove 13 of the laminated core 6; and a winding 10 that is wound to the teeth 12 of the laminated core 6 and the auxiliary magnetic member 7.
