PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply and highly accurately forming light intercepting parts even on a lens that has a pitch as fine as 0.3mm or less. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for a transmission screen includes: a plate manufacturing step in which illuminating light is emitted from the lens portion side of a lens sheet, the illuminating light condensed by each lens portion is received at a fixed position on the back of the lens sheet and thus a plate for forming the light intercepting parts is manufactured; and a light intercepting part formation step in which based on the plate obtained by the plate manufacturing step, the back of the lens sheet aligned to the manufactured position of the plate is printed with a light intercepting part formation material that is light interceptive. Thereby, the light intercepting parts of the lens sheet are continuously formed in the direction of conveyance of the lens sheet. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
