PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic sensor device that detects polarization of a magnetic pole by using a detection signal from a Hall element, to detect a rotation position device. SOLUTION: With rotation of a rotary table, where at least a pair of magnetic poles facing each other, the magnetic sensor device detects magnetic fields from respective poles by magnetoresistive elements provided, at places facing to the center of the rotary table to determine rotation positions. In the device, two Hall elements are provided at a crosses axes angle of 90°of the magnetoresistive elements. Based on the output signals from the Hall elements, a region of respective rotation angles of 180°in a sine waveform at an electrical angle 720°, that is outputted from the magnetoresistive elements per rotation of the rotary table can be specified.
