PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor information acquisition device (1) capable of reducing network traffic with a network manager (2) when state change including a warning is generated in quantities. SOLUTION: Frequencies (GF) of occurrence of state change are counted by monitor items and it is decided whether a frequency of occurrence exceeds a threshold (Th) per unit time; and normal TRAP of state change is sent out to the network manager (2) until the frequency of occurrence exceeds the threshold and when the frequency of occurrence exceeds the threshold, in-frequent-state change TRAP indicating that that threshold is exceeded is sent to the network manager once while the normal TRAP is inhibited from being sent out until the frequency of occurrence decreases below the threshold.
