PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the service life of an organic EL display device by prolonging the service life of an OLED element. SOLUTION: In the organic EL display device, when at least a hole transportation layer HTR, a light emitting layer LUM, an electron transportation layer ETR, and an electron injection layer EIN are stacked by vapor deposition between one electrode (anode AND or cathode CTD) formed on main surface of an insulating substrate SUB1 and the other electrode (cathode CTD or anode AND), the concentration of a plasticizer to be taken into a vapor deposition device is set to 100 ppm or less.
