PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating device of high reliability, improved in its refrigerating capacity by cooling a compressor by mounting an injection circuit, and lowering the temperature of a refrigerant flowing into an evaporator by controlling the quantity of refrigerant in a refrigerating circuit within a proper range without depending on visual observation. SOLUTION: In this refrigerating device 1 provided with the injection circuit comprising a first refrigerant expanding adjusting means 8 for cooling a part of liquid refrigerant in a liquid receiver 4 of the refrigerating circuit by supplying the same to the compressor 2, further provided with second refrigerant expanding adjusting means 11, 12 and temperature detecting means 13, 14 mounted on liquid surface detecting piping H6-1, H6-2, and comparing refrigerant temperatures detected by the temperature detecting means 13, 14 to detect a liquid surface height h in the liquid receiver 4, the temperature of the refrigerating flowing into the evaporator 6 is lowered by allowing piping H3 at an outlet side of the liquid receiver 4 to exchange heat with the liquid surface detecting piping H6 after installing and positioning the second refrigerant expanding adjusting means 11, 12, and controlling the second refrigerant expanding adjusting means 11, 12.
