PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow executing works at a low cost for execution even in case the piping work is conducted in a pit using a pipe fitting furnished with a connection part made of thermoplastic resin able to be attached in hot fusion to a target part for connection made of thermoplastic resin by heating with electricity fed. SOLUTION: An operating tool for power distribution is equipped with a socket 16 for supplying the electric power electrically connectable with a terminal for feeding the current of a pipe fitting furnished with the connection part made of thermoplastic resin able to be attached in hot fusion to the target part for connection made of thermoplastic resin by heating with electricity fed in such an arrangement as able to be mounted on the terminal for feeding the current through remote control from an operating rod 17 coupled with the socket and an uncoupling means 20 capable of uncoupling the operating rod from the socket through remote control.
