PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add a stroke limiter function simply and inexpensively by backfitting. SOLUTION: A male screw 23 is formed at one end side of a casing 22 of a stroke limiter 21. The male screw 23 is detachably attached to a pipe connector 17 to be connected for a pilot pipe 9 in itself. The casing 22 comprises a rod-like stopper 24 which moves in the stroke direction of a spool 10, and projects outside the casing at the apical surface to limit the maximum stroke of the spool 10, an adjusting screw 25 to adjust the position of the stopper 24 from outside, a pipe connection opening 28 to be connected for the pilot pipe 9 in place of the pipe connector 17, and a pilot passage 29 to introduce the pilot pressure supplied from the pilot pipe 9 into a pilot chamber 6 of the valve body 4.
