PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solubilizer of tulobuterol for percutaneous absorption type preparations, and to provide a method for using the solubilizer. SOLUTION: The solubilizer of tulobuterol for percutaneous absorption type preparations comprises at least one selected from a group consisting of an ester of a 12-16C fatty acid, a monoglyceride of an 8-10C fatty acid, an ester of a 6-10C dibasic acid, a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether of 2-5 addition molar number, and a polyoxyethylene alkyl phenyl ether of 2-5 addition molar number, and the method for assisting dissolution of the tulobuterol into a paste layer comprises compounding the solubilizer in the paste layer.
