PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a sheet cutting device with simple structure and reduce costs. SOLUTION: The sheet cutting device is provided with an encoder disk 523 for detecting a load of a bundle pressing motor 545 for driving a pressing member 531, and a bundle pressing clock sensor 522. Thus, the load of the bundle pressing motor 545 corresponding to abnormality of the bundle pressing motor 545 and completion of a pressing operation can be detected by the one encoder disk 523.
