PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device capable of stably conveying a plurality of relatively flat articles received in a receiving position without disturbing arrangement of the articles when they are conveyed to a delivery position while retaining them in such a state that they are accumulated fore-and-aft in a standing attitude. SOLUTION: A conveying surface formed by buckets 44, 45 connected to flat belts 43, 43 is inclined in a width direction by an angleγ. Further, a side guide member 61 contacting and guiding a side part of an article X retained by the buckets 44, 45 is provided on a side of a side getting low through inclination of the conveying surface.
