PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method which is cleared of the cause of a fluctuation in coating film during coating, makes the most of the advantages of a pre-measurement method and also a post-measurement method, and further improves the precision of a coating film to provide stable and preferable coating. SOLUTION: In the coating method, a pre-measuring type coater is provided on the upstream side in a traveling direction of a coating object held by a backup roller and continuously traveling to form a primary coating film, and a coating roller having an elastic surface layer is provided on the down stream side. The coating roller is pressed against the primary coating film while being synchronized with the backup roller to secondarily equalize the coating film. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
