A floor panel (10) comprises an external layer (14), for example a ceramic tile placed on a support layer (12). Said support layer comprises a front face oriented towards the external layer and an opposite rear face and is provided with coupling means which are used for interacting with coupling means of a similar panel. The support layer is produced by polymer injection moulding.
