Drive system has a coupling (5) which is a single stage electromagnetic coupling (5a) which is arranged between the gear (4) and fan (3), on which an eddy-current coupling (8a) is mounted for transferring different high speeds of the internal combustion engine to the fan. The other single-step electromagnetic coupling (5b) is arranged between the drive shaft (7) and the gear. A further eddy-current coupling is connected to electromagnetic coupling.
