The pallet clamping device has parallel strip-like clamping bodies fixed over the surface of a machine pallet which has a pattern of threaded bores (2) . The clamping bodies each consist of two flat half strips in T-shape (4,5) spaced from one another so that their opposite longitudinal sides and the free surface part of the pallet between same each form T-grooves (9) for sliding blocks so that fixed clamping jaws (10) and wedge tensioners with movable wedge jaws (11) can be positioned and clamped on the clamping bodies through fixing screws (7). Light pallets of aluminium or non-metal material can be formed as flat plates without directly integrated clamping grooves.
