A double-circuit type electromagnetic ventilated spring-pressure brake has two braking circuits acting on a common hub (2) and shaft (1), with a common coil support (7) arranged concentrically to the hub (2) and provided with a solenoid (8).The coil support (7) is mounted freely suspended in the spacing sleeves (14) with the solenoid (8) where both armature discs (9,10) on the left and right sides of the coil support (7) use independent 'transfer tripping sleeves'(not shown here) for transfer of torque.
