<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for enhancing visibility or image quality of a printed matter where importance is attached to appearance than to reproducibility or visibility. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor comprises a means for acquiring color image data, a means for generating a frequency distribution of hue by counting the pixel data of each pixel constituting the acquired image data for every hue, a means for judging whether importance is attached to visibility or not in the image data based on the generated frequency distribution, a means for converting at least one of the gray level, saturation and hue of the pixel data if importance is attached to visibility in the image data, and a means for printing the image data where the pixel data is converted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
