<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display controller for displaying an image adequately. <P>SOLUTION: A judgement unit 51 judges whether a condition changes in scaling of a moving video image in displaying objective image or not. If an out-of-scaling state of the moving video image in displaying objective image changes to the scaling state, a display control unit 52 selects an scene mode for displaying the displaying objective image with a trigger of the change of the scaling based on the aspect of the whole displaying objective image, so as to display the displaying objective image in this scene mode. As an example, a moving video image can be displayed with scaling and a superposed image, where data of data broadcast are superposed, and the controller and the method can be applied to a wide TV having a so-called auto wide function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
