<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reception signal quality by executing proper weight factor control when a radio wave state in which signal processing by an adaptive array does not effectively work occurs in a complicated radio wave propagation environment. <P>SOLUTION: A method of determining a weight factor of each of antenna elements is switched from a dynamic weight determining method by adaptive array signal processing to a method of giving a larger weight factor to one or more antenna elements having good reception state than a weight factor to be given to the other antenna elements, in response to information indicating a difference in size of reception level between a desired signal and an interference signal depending of antenna elements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
