<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electronic component in which the suppression of deterioration of an insulation resistor is achieved. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a piezoelectric actuator 10 includes: a step to prepare a green sheet 20 which has a first ceramic powder containing Pb, and should serve as a piezoelectric layer 12; a step to prepare an electrode paste 22 which contains a second ceramic powder whose Pb content is lower than that of a first ceramic powder, and should serve as an internal electrode 14; a step to apply the electrode paste 22 on the green sheet 20; a step to form a laminate 26 in which twenty sheets of the green sheet 20 are laminated on which the electrode paste 22 is applied; and a step to sinter the laminate 26. Accordingly, Pb emitted from the first ceramic powder of the green sheet 20 is absorbed into the second ceramic powder. Consequently, the occurrence of segregation of PbO is prevented, and the deterioration of the insulation resistor is prevented in the piezoelectric actuator 10 caused by the moisture absorption of PbO. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
