<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run which surely seals a space to the hollow seal section of an opening weather strip on a car body opening section peripheral edge at corner sections of a door frame of an automobile door. <P>SOLUTION: This glass run for automobile has a linear section, and a corner section which is attached to the corner sections of the door frame and is molded by die molding. In the glass run for automobile, the glass run 10 forms an approximately U-shape cross section comprising a car outside side wall 20, a cabin-side side wall 30 and a bottom wall 40. A corner expanded section 70 is provided on the cabin direction side of the cabin-side side wall 30 of the corner section of the glass run. The corner expanded section is formed by increasing rigidity by embedding an insert made of a harder material than the glass run. The glass run for automobile comes into contact with the hollow seal section 9a of the opening weather strip 9 being attached to the corner sections of the car body opening section peripheral edge 6 when the door is closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
