OPTICAL DISK, IMAGE DRAWING METHOD AND OPTICAL DISK RECORDER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk with a prescribed image drawing inhibited area provided on the inner peripheral side of an image recording layer. SOLUTION: The optical disk is provided with the image recording layer where visible images can be drawn by irradiation with a laser beam and disk information is recorded by prepits or pregrooves more on the inner side than the area to plot the image in the image recording layer. In the formation area of the image recording layer, there are two areas which are an image drawing area where the image is drawn and the image drawing inhibited area where the drawing of the image is inhibited, and the position information of the image drawing inhibited area is recorded in the prepits or the pregrooves.
