PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that words, sentences, or the like must be input into the WEB screen (browser) of a cellular phone to perform a database search or information acquisition by using the cellular phone, that is, the browser must be used for searching for and acquiring PULL-type information. SOLUTION: An e-mail, with a word to be searched for or the like input into the SUBJECT part and the BODY part in the e-mail edit screen of the cellular phone, is sent to a predetermined e-mail address to access a WEB database, and the result of the search is returned by a return e-mail. In this way, information can be searched for or information on the WEB can be accessed only with the e-mail from the cellular phone, without using the WEB screen (browser) of the cellular phone.
