PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating system and electronic equipment mounted with the same capable of decreasing capacity of context information to be stored in a storage means when interrupting a task by a system call request and speeding up storage processing of the context information to the storage means. SOLUTION: The operating system stores simplified context information which is context information on the task being executed and does not include a common program address (S2) when the system call is requested by the program address common to a plurality of tasks predetermined in the task being executed (S1); and after the execution of processing corresponding to the system call, execution of the task interrupted by the system call is restarted on the basis of the common program address and the simplified context information stored in the first storage means.
