PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which a panel heater and a flexible substrate are not peeled off with each other and which can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: The flexible substrates 13 form the shape of long and slender ribbon at a connected part with a transparent panel heater 12 and arranged between a liquid crystal display panel 11 and the transparent panel heater 12 along side edge parts of two opposite parallel sides among four sides of the approximately rectangular transparent panel heater 12. Such a flexible substrate 13 is separated from the liquid crystal display panel 11 via a spacer layer 14. An adhesive layer with thickness approximately equal to the total thickness of thickness of the flexible substrate 13 and thickness of the spacer layer 14 is formed on the side edge parts of the other two parallel sides on which the flexible substrate 13 is not provided.
