PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the whole of a window switch unit produced compactly in such a manner that any erroneous operation can be prevented for the unit. SOLUTION: A slide panel 6 is installed to a unit case 4 in a manner permitting a sliding operation for the slide panel, and an operation knob 9 is arranged on the slide panel 6. A contact switching mechanism is installed, which can be selectively connected to a vehicle window operating circuit 11 for front seat or a vehicle window operating circuit 12 for rear seat by operating electrical contacts of the operation knob 9 depending upon the slide position of the slide panel 6. In this way, the windows for front seats and rear seats of the motor vehicle can be opened or closed by adjusting a slide position and operating the operation knob 9 on the slide panel 6.
