PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce operation force required to move an article housing part, and to make the operation feeling user-friendly. SOLUTION: The operation force of a handle 3 is transmitted to a drawer unit 1 through a first rack 2, a first pinion 6, a first shaft 8, a torque sensor 10, a second shaft 9, a second pinion 7 and a second rack 5, and the magnitude and the direction are detected by a torque sensor 10. The driving current of a motor 11 is controlled so that the output torque is in the level in accordance with the magnitude of the operation force detected by the torque sensor 10. The output of the motor 11 thus controlled is transmitted to the drawer unit 1 through a pinion 11a and the second rack 5, and the movement force to the operation direction of the handle 3 acts with respect to the drawer unit 1.
