PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet gasket having a close structure and capable of realizing satisfactory sealing property by weak tightening force even if recessed and projecting parts on a flange face are large. SOLUTION: This sheet gasket is manufactured by molding a component made of basic material fibers, a rubber material, filler, and rubber chemical. Beads are formed on one face or both faces of the sheet gasket. Density of a flat part is 1.0 g/cm<SP>3</SP>or more, and density of the bead is lower than density of the flat part.
