PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper pattern capable of effectively installing sanitary earthenware to a wall surface without injuring the wall, and a method of installing the sanitary earthenware by using the paper pattern. SOLUTION: The paper pattern 6 to be disposed on the wall surface W for positioning a wash basin 1 is formed in such a shape that part of the paper pattern protrudes from the peripheral edge of the wash basin 1.
