Disclosed is a sheet-like composite electronic component comprising a first sheet substrate (1) wherein first thin film electronic components (2, 3) are formed on at least one major surface and an external connection terminal for connection with an external circuit is formed on the one major surface or the other major surface, a second sheet substrate (5) wherein a second thin film electronic component (6) is formed on at least one major surface, an insulating adhesive resin layer (9) for bonding and fixing the first sheet substrate (1) and the second sheet substrate (5) together in such a manner that the first thin film electronic components (2, 3) and the second thin film electronic component (6) face each other, and an interlayer connection conductor (7) for electrically connecting respective predetermined electrode terminals of the first thin film electronic components (2, 3) and the second thin film electronic component (6).
