<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a user's finger intended to touch a key displayed on the screen of a display does not trigger an input. <P>SOLUTION: A ticket vending machine validates the input of a key displayed on a display at the timing, when a finger that is touching the key via a touch panel leaves the touch panel. With respect to the display area of a "Confirm" key 19, for example, an effective input area 20 is the display area and below.
