<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate switching of screen display between groups independently from a program formed by a user. <P>SOLUTION: The user performs an operation for switching screen display from a group a screen displayed on the programmable display belongs to the other group on the display screen. A screen switching control part 21b reads, in response thereto, the group number and screen number of a screen of switching destination (switching destination screen) from screen switching data, changes the screen display to the screen of this screen number, and makes a storage control part 21c to store the screen number of the screen of switching source screen (switching source screen) to a switching storage area CM. When the screen display is returned to the original group, the display is switched to the read screen number, the switching destination screen before return is treated as a new switching source screen, and its screen number is stored in the same manner as described above.
