<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality determination device in mounting a tool holder to a spindle device in a machine tool, which surely cleans the inner peripheral surface of a taper hole of a spindle and the outer peripheral surface of a taper shank part of the tool holder, and confirms the presence/absence of the tool holder. <P>SOLUTION: The spindle device is provided with a cleaning air supply mechanism for supplying cleaning air to a gap G1 formed between the inner peripheral surface of the taper hole 28a of the spindle 28 and the outer peripheral surface of the taper shank part 34 of the tool holder 5. A pressure sensor 50 is provided in an air supply passage of the air supply mechanism, whereby after the supply operation of the cleaning air, the air pressure is measured by the pressure sensor 50 to determine the presence/absence of the tool holder 5 according to the magnitude of measured air pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
