PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high mechanical strength and wear resistance, excellent in repetition stability and giving good images, a process cartridge and an electrophotographic apparatus. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer on a support and a surface layer of the photoreceptor contains an electric insulating binder resin and a charge transport material, wherein the charge transport material contains a compound represented by formula (1) and has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of≤8,000, and the binder resin is a compound containing a constitutional unit represented by formula (2-1) or (2-2).
